The Secretary for Home Affairs, Dr. Patrick Ho hosted a welcome dinner for the delegates of the 22nd East Asian Games Association (EAGA). The creativity and hard work of PRIME was appreciated by all guests. During the dinner, Dr. Ho reaffirmed Hong Kong's determination to make the East Asian Games in 2009 a true success. Acting Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Michael Suen was the guest of honour of the evening. He accepted sponsorship cheques for the 2009 EAGA and also presented souvenirs to sponsors. During the dinner, the EAGA delegates joined Hon. Timothy Fok, GBS, JP and Director of Leisure & Cultural Services, Ms. Anissa Wong to present prizes to the winners of the 2009 East Asian Games Slogan Competition. All guests witnessed the unforgettable moment of adoption of the winning entry "Be the Legend" as the official slogan of the East Asian Games. The evening's entertainment was Shaolin Wushu demonstration by martial arts monks from Songshan, China. Their fabulous performance impressed every guest.
